Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 28 years old and getting headaches is very rare for me! Heres my question....I have had a medium size headache for the last 2 weeks and it gets even worse in the mornings when I wake up for a few hours. Since this headache has occured I have noticed some other things. I feel nuaseated alot, I sleep 8 hours a night but go through the day exhausted and tired feeling as if I never slept that night, and I am getting sore all over my body mostly on my neck, all over my head of course, my shoulders, my back and my legs for no unexplained reason. I am not stressed and no reason to be and I have not history of headaches, like I said it is very rare for me to get one. Do you know what this could be? Should I go see a doctor? could this be something serious?
I went through the history you have posted here. It seems from the history that you are having nausea and headache. This indicates a probable migraine headache. This requires treatment by the use of antimigraine drugs in the acute episode. Analgesics and anti-emetics are required for symptomatic relief. Hence you need to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment.
Hope this is helpful to you. Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you
