What Causes Headache And Pressure Above The Left Ear?

I have 3 mmol/L triglycerides 4.43 mmol/L having a light headache and feels like something crawling in my scalps one week already till now...i just continue taking every other day my medication gemfribrozil..now something light pressure on my left head near top my ear...just had a chance to check my bp 100/80 ...do i need to go to emergency?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache and pressure above the left ear. Well there can be many reason for symptoms you mention in query like ear infection , trauma to any structure in ear like ear drum , swimmer's ear and tumor . Apply warm compresses over the ear. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may order certain test like CT scan or MRI along with examination with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory and vitamin supplement for quick recovery . Sometimes doctor may also recommend surgical approach . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist. Also take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
