What Causes Headache And Pressure In Forehead?

I have had a headache for over 2 weeks every day. At first I thought it was a tension headache but now it feels more like pressure on forehead, behind eyes/cheeks and top of head. It is lasting al day and seems worse before bed but not preventing me getting to sleep. Des this sound like a sinus infection or tension headache? I am worried due to the length of time I have had it.

Hi,

All your symptoms of headache, pressure pain on forehead, face and top of head surely suggest sinusitis as the commonest cause.
Thus I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Consult an ENT Surgeon for ENT Endoscopy, clinical evaluation and correlation with reports.
CT scan of head and sinuses is the best way to confirm or rule out any disease that is causing headache.
Regular blood pressure measures is also a must.
Relevant tests of blood and urine.
All these will give the most proper diagnosis.
And allow the best possible medical or surgical treatment as per the cause found.
Till then take nasal decongestant drops and steam inhalation.
