I was diagnosed with right-ear viral labrynthitis on June 2, 2017. I was prescribed to take Meclizine (25mg) to reduce the inflammation in the canals. Because it made me VERY drowsy,, I stopped after one day. My internist said I need to get back on it at least for four days, so I am. However, I am experiencing other neurological problems, and wonder if they can be attributed to the labrynthitis, or something else....I have no energy (like when I had hepatitis in the early 90s). I have a dull headache; my left leg is restless frequently; I am also having problems with strength in my left arm. Prior to the Meclizine I was having much difficulty sleeping trough the night. I am 71 years old. Could all of these problems be related to the deep ear infection? I ve been doing some on-line research, and some of my symptoms also align with those of MS. What is your opinion?
