What Causes Headache And Sore Throat After Having Unprotected Sex?
hi i had unprotected sex 4 weeks ago and am experiencing constant headaches and a sore throat that has not gone away for 2 weeks also sinus infection and burning skin around my neck area and forehead, these symptons started 2 weeks ago and have not let up, also coughing up yellow phelgm
Since there was a gap of two weeks between your unprotected sex and your symptoms it does not seem to be the cause. However anything is possible In any case start a course of antibiotic like amox-clav and antihistamine like levocetrizine in consultation with your doctor and see if this helps Take only warm fluids, do steam inhalation and salt water gargle
If you do not get better in a week or so and if your symptoms worsen then you must consult an ENT and physician at the earliest so that a proper investigation and treatment work up can be done get well soon and of course avoid unprotected sex regards
