What Causes Headache At Night?

I have had a headache for 3 weeks now, only starts at night when I lay down & remains until I wake up in the am then goes away for the entire day until night time again! Also noticing small cyst like growths on my face (hairline) I went to Dr he gave me z pack, antibiotic & cough medicine because I had chest congestion in the beginning, it all cleared up except the headache . Do you have any suggestions re; what the problem is? dr sent me for ct scan of my head yesterday but haven t received results yet Thank You for any info that you may be able to provide! General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Usually, upper respiratory tract infection can lead to headache as constitutional symptoms.

So headache can be due to that.

But as your headache is persistent and if no obvious cause identified than only MRI suggested.

You can rule out hypertension by measuring blood pressure and hypoglycemia by sugar estimation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
