What Causes Headache, Back Pain And Pressure Behind Ears?

My daughter who is 17 has had a headache across her forehead along with pain/pressure behind her ears. If she touches her jawbone, it hurts. She feels as if someone pushed hard on the soft tissue under her jaw. In addition, she has some back and shoulder pain which she thinks may be due to a strenuous lacrosse game yesterday. Please advise.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If all the things have started suddenly after the game with a history of ball striking her affected area that can be attributed to lacrosse game & would be relieved with fomentation/ice pack with over the counter pain medicine like Ibuprofen.

She needs to be evaluated for the involvement of her sinus/occipital to hurt her nerve & cause neuralgia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
