What Causes Headache, Dizziness And Mood Swings After Taking Postinor 2?

The first day of my last period was on 25th August. It lasted until the 29th. I had sex with my partner on the 3rd September and he ejaculated in me because we didn t realize the condom broke. I went to the clinic around 9 hours later and got the Postinor 2 pills so I took one immediately and the second one 12 hours later. I ve been experiencing side effects such as headaches, dizziness, and mood swings. If I m experiencing these side effects, does this mean the pill is working or is there still a chance of failure?

Hi,

Suggestive of Positnor-2 side effects. Based on the history you seem to be suffering from the side effects of Positnor-2 which usually subside within a few days.

Experiencing side effects of this hormonal pill does not necessarily mean that pill is working, however positnor-2 is up to 95% effective in preventing an unwanted pregnancy if taken within 24 hours following an unprotected sex.
