What Causes Headache, Dizziness And Pain On Upper Area Of Rib Cage?

I have had a headache for 5 days now, and it s getting worse and worse. I also have pain and bruising on my upper left area of my rib cage. Along with the headaches I also get dizzy a lot of the time and sometimes I feel like I m going to faint. What s going in?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Headache can occur in number of conditions like migraine, cluster headache, headache due to stress or due to trauma.
Is there any history of trauma to head i recent past?
Decreased blood supply to brain due to atherosclerosis can also lead to faintness and headache.
I suggest you to consult your physician at the earliest for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
A CT head is required to look for disorder in the brain.
The bruising in the chest region can be due to trauma.
Is there any history of trauma to the chest in recent past?
Trauma to chest can lead to injury to soft tissue and hence bleeding causing bruising.
If the bruising is spontaneous, there can be associated disorder of platelets or coagulation factors.
Thus, consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.
