What Causes Headache, Fever, Stiff Neck, Muscle Pain And Aluminium Taste In Mouth?

my husband is sick. his symptoms are: headache, fever of 103, stiff neck, no energy, aches and pains, chills, hurts to move around, sleepy, aluminum taste in mouth. can you help me figure out what is wrong with him? hes been like this for 5 days so far.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headache, fever, stiff neck, muscle pain and aluminium taste in mouth . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like medication reaction or side-effect , viral pharyngitis , sinusitis , aseptic meningitis , viral infection or sunburn . I would suggest you to drink plenty of water , stop taking any new medicine if your have started recently , take benadryl twice a day and take paracetamol for fever . Consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , check vitals and take history to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drug like acyclovir along with analgesic and anti pyretic .
