What Causes Headache, Nausea And Eyelid Pain?

I have been getting headaches at the back ,and severe pain under my eyelids and nausea , particularly during my periods, almost 5 to 6 days. And since past two months my eyes are turning red after severe headeache during those days. I used to take doloper medication, but sometimes that does not effect and i finally will resent to diclofenac. what would be the reason?Any thing to fear about?Any treatment for this? I would appreciate doctors advice.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted your history of headache at back, pain below eyelids, redness of eyes particularly during menstrual period, Doloper does not help then has to take Diclofenac.
The commonest causes I can think about are as follows:
Sinusitis with affection spread to surrounding due to congestions .
Problems of eyes like glaucoma, allergic, vision problems can also cause such symptoms.
Tumors of brain.
Hypertension.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Get started with clinical evaluation by your Doctor so that he/she can guide you which of the Specialist you should visit like ENT, Eye or Neurologist.
Relevant investigations of CT scan of brain, eyes, ophthalmic check up, CT scan of sinuses will help o pinpoint the cause.
This will allow the most proper management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
