What Causes Headache, Nausea And Fatigue?

I have unexplained weight gain, fatigue, intolerance to heat, blood pressure that is usually normal but does fluctuate to extremes occasionally (separate incidences from 180/110 to 78/54 with symptoms that would be expected to occur at these levels, headaches & nausea occasionally, body temperature consistently low with range 96 - 97.6 celcius. Past history of SLE with membraneous nephritis, in remission 20 years but took Prednisone for 5 years & Cyclophosphamide for 2 years back then. My comprehensive Lupus tests, Kidney tests, Cushings, Carcinoid, & Thyroid tests are all good & normal. My doctors are at a loss.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of headache, nausea and fatigue. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like food allergy, gastroenteritis, acid reflux, food poisoning and electrolyte disturbances. Stress and anxiety can also cause such symptoms. You should take plenty of fluids and diet rich in multivitamins. Avoid intake of outside and hot and spicy food substances. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order endoscopy of esophagus , X-ray of upper digestive tract and ambulatory acidity test . Doctor may prescribe H2 blockers , proton pump inhibitor along with antacid. For now avoid eating spicy food and also avoid seafood and nuts .
