What Causes Headache, Nausea And Jaw Pain?

Hi, I hit my head on the temple about 24 hours ago. It hurt like hell but had no other symptoms. I now have a headache all over and feel a bit nauseous. It also hurts to open my jaw on the sde where I hit it. Should I be concerned that its something more serious? Thanks.

Hello,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The pain may be due to the impact caused to the temporalis muscle which is located over the temple region and associated with chewing action.
Any kind of headache gives rise to nausea.
I would suggest you to take painkillers for the headache and if the headache goes off, the nausea should also go off with it.
Observe for a day or 2, if pain is still severe or have any symptoms of vomiting it will be advisable to get a CT brain to look for any bleeding that must have occured.
But mostly pain should go off with painkillers and so should the nausea.
