Hi, I have been a bit off the last month. With Migranes and headaches every few days (or they will last for a few days, go away for a few days and then come back). At the moment, I have a headache, a neck ach, ear ach on my right site and senstive to light. If feels differant to my migraines and I have litlle floating things in my eyes. also, yesterday (this is day two of the headache) I started to see something else. (you know when a camera flash goes off and you get little white spots in your eyes?) like that but it goes away if I take some time out in a dark room. it is freaking me out to be a bit honest. Also, I use ortho-k? would this be from that?
Hello and welcome to HCM, The symptoms of headache,neck-ache, earache, seeing flashes of light and sensitivity to light are associated with migraine only. These symptoms are not due to any other disease process. Thus, treatment of migraine is required to relieve these symptoms. Migraine runs a chronic course so long term treatment is required. I suggest you to consult your physician for clinical assessment and management of the condition.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
