Hello,

Headache, sore throat, and facial pain are common symptoms of many different conditions, including viral or bacterial infections, sinusitis, allergies, and tension headaches. Your current symptoms may be related to one of these conditions.

Given your history of thyroid and blood pressure issues, it is important to rule out any potential complications or exacerbations of these conditions. In particular, high blood pressure can cause headaches, and a sore throat could be a sign of an infection that may need treatment. Therefore, I would recommend that you schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider as soon as possible to discuss your symptoms and determine the best course of action.

In the meantime, you can try some home remedies to relieve your symptoms. For example, you can try taking over-the-counter pain relievers such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen for your headache and body pain. Garge with salt water to relieve sore throat. Drinking plenty of fluids and getting plenty of rest can also help support your body's immune system and promote healing.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
