Hello Sir,My mother recently had a full set of medical tests in pune. She is diabetic, and all her other tests appeared normal. But she had a kind of paralytic attack while coming back to home because of HIGH BP (180/140). She is now suffering from headache, tooth pain and in eyes only on the right side of her face. And a small part of her lip slides down while talking or eating anything. Please advice as what should be done? And is there any medication though she can get rid away with this pain?Awaiting your response Regards,Danish
I carefully read your question and would explain that your mothers symptoms are probably caused by TIA (transitory ischemic attack) or a small stroke, involving the lower part of the face.

What Causes Headache, Toothache And Pain In Eyes?
Hello! Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM! I carefully read your question and would explain that your mothers symptoms are probably caused by TIA (transitory ischemic attack) or a small stroke, involving the lower part of the face. Regarding her headache, toothache, they could be related to a tooth infection or a sinus infection. I recommend consulting with her GP for a careful physical exam, a complete blood count and inflammation tests (PCR, sedimentation rate). A brain CT scan is necessary to exclude possible stroke and sinus infection. If sinus infection is confirmed, she may need to be treated with antibiotics. Hope you will find this answer helpful! Kind regards, Dr. Aida
