What Causes Headache, Vomiting And Black Stools In A Child?

Hi grandaughter is 4 had fever of 103.1 last tuesday for a couple days headache vomiting dizzy. Fever went away .But still has belly ache. Stools are mostly gray with some black. Whent to the doctor and tested for Strep and flu virus did not have either. Mother wonder if she should take hospital. Could this be a stomach virus.
