What Causes Headache When On Medicine For Enlarged Prostrate And Cholesterol?

My husband awoke this morning with a headache. He cannot stay awake, has been sleeping since 9.00pm last night and it is now 4.30pm the next day. He wakes up to eat and goe s right back to sleep. He is confused and has an unsteady walk. His blood pressure at last check was 140 over 90. He is on a lot of different meds for enlarged prostrate, kidney s,high blood pressure, colestrol and potassium.

Hello,

* The headache with increase sleep indicate synergistic effect of high blood pressure medicine with possible alpha blocker prescribed for prostate enlargement and pausing problems at autonomic system to be manifested as unsteady walk and confusion.

Kindly report the issue to his doc`s office and immediately discuss about the further dose consumption with necessary modifications accordingly.

Till that time, allow him plenty of liquids to avoid postural hypotension and take care that he does not fall through unsteady gait.
