What Causes Headache While Suffering From High Blood Pressure Levels?
I am on Hydroclorothiazide 25 mg a day for HPN for a few months. I also take labetalol 200-100 OD, Benacar 40 OD. BP still on the hi side. sometmes as hi as 172/82 and already have headache today was 134/76 at noon and tonight was 135/80. recent sodium serum level is low 128.I am concern about the sodium. try not to drink a lot. Bun 20 and hi hematocrit creatinine ok. please advice. thank you

Headache in a hypertensive patient is due to alterations in the cranial pressure involving the cerebral vessels most likely. In addition to anti-hypertensive medicines, deep breathing exercises and relaxation techniques play a very vital role in the control of headache.
