What Causes Headache With Painful Lymph Nodes From Neck To Armpit?

I have had sudden symptoms come up through last night and today. I have an intense headache at the base of my head, aching ears, and lymph node pain all the way down my neck in to my armpit. Also I have been experiencing mild nausea for a few days now (not sure if it s related). Lastly I have noticed swollen tonsils, but my throat doesn t really hurt. I have an appointment tomorrow with my Dr, but I can t help but worry. What could this be?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the symptoms may be related to viral illness. Many viral illnesses can cause joint and muscle pain and may also be associated with a headache.

The use of paracetamol may help along with fluids and rest till you can see your doctor tomorrow to determine the exact source of the infection.

I hope this helps
