Hello!
Thank you for your question on HCM!
I would like to explain that headache after eating may be caused by different disorders:
1. Migraine, which can be triggered by certain types of food.
2. gastroesofageal reflux
3. a
food intolerance or
allergic reaction.
Certain types of chapatis) may contain a high level or phytates. These chemicals interfere with the way iron is absorbed from the gut. So, if you eat a lot of these foods, it can lead to
iron deficiency.
Phytates exist in most grains and legumes and prevent the body from absorbing
magnesium. Phytates also strip calcium from the body and cause mineral deficiencies.
So I recommend you to perform a routine
blood test for anemia and blood electrolytes, including magnesium. I recommend you to change your diet, to see if the food you eat triggers your headache, or there is another cause underlying your problems.
Hope to have been helpful!
Greetings! Dr. Aida
