I eat alot of sugar chocolate and sweats and recently when i have ate sweats or chocolate i am getting headaches. Would the sugar that im consuming have anything to do with the headaches? I just ate some cake and now i have a headache so i checked my sugar and it is 162, but i do realize i just ate a piece of cake. Any thoughts on any of this? Thanks!
Diabetes and hypertension are one of the common cause of headache or giddiness.Increase or decrease in blood sugar or blood pressure can cause headache.Sudden increase in sugar levels can cause headache or nausea in many patients.Blood sugar of 162 after food is higher than normal and comes under impaired glucose tolerance but with diet and lifestyle change, shift to full blown diabetes can be avoided.
Hope that was helpful.Let me know if i can assist you further.
