What Causes Headaches Along With Dizziness, Backache And Nausea?

My husband has been feeling really bad. It started Sunday after we had been out in the Sun on Saturday. He has had heat stroke in 2014. He tried to stay in shade but he was out side. He has had headaches, dizziness, back ache, nausea and indigestion. each symptom seems to come and go. He went to dr. yesterday and told doctor he thought he had a sinus infection. Dr. prescribed z pack and steroids. He has also had kidney stones in the past. He refused to have a ua yesterday, but I insisted he have one today, but they said it was not enough to test. He sometimes thinks he needs to go to hospital. His blood pressure runs 148/78 to 133//76 his pulse is around 60. He is diabetic but he is eating. He has not taken an accue test. Any ideas? Should he go to hospital?

As per your query, you have headaches along with dizziness, backache and nausea which seems to be due to strep throat, viral pharyngitis and due to viral fever.

I would suggest you to consult general physician for proper diagnosis. Doctor may order throat swab test and examination with laryngoscope. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin or penicillin, anti-inflammatory and decongestants along with expectorant.

Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist if he/she finds problem to be related with ear infection. For now, do warm saline gargles and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain.
