Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello,I ve had a headache since Saturday evening. This will be the second day straight in a row that I ve got this headache, but it comes and go. For example I will wake up with no headache and then later on that same day the headache comes back again. It on the frontal area. Also, since Saturday afternoon, I ve had ringing ear on both side.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Constant headache after getting up in morning and in the frontal region is suggestive of frontal sinusitis. Frontal sinusitis refers to infection and inflammation of the frontal sinus. Sinusitis is treated with antibiotics. Ringing in both ears is also due to involvement of ears. Ringing is also called tinnitus and can occur due to trauma to ears, drugs, toxins, or high blood pressure. You need to consult an ENT specialist for clinical assessment of the ear, relevant investigations and thus management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
