What Causes Headaches Along With Watery Eyes In A Child?

My 6 year old son has been complaining of a headache for the past 2 days and now his eyes are watery and he says they hurt. He also randomly throws up at night during the middle of the night. Motrin seems to help with the headaches. Should I be concerned?

Hi thanks for contacting a health care magic.

Noted here watery eye with headache present.
Mostly it could be simple viral respiratory infection. It can lead to headache like constitutional symptom...
Symptomatic management done.
Decongestent like oxyetazoline and cetrizine can given.
More water. .

If you live in cold climate humidifier can used...

According to my opinion I would like to auscultate your child to look for any creps , rhonchi etc...for detail work up....
Respiratory rate also counted to investigate.

Hope he will get well soon....

Take care....
