What Causes Headaches And Black Eyes After Waking Up?

My girlfriend who had a stoke 2 years ago told me today at lunch she has been suffering from bad headaches and monday woke up with an eyes that was black and blue, her husbands cousin said that happened to her also, is tbat normal or coukd it have been a mikd stoke?

1)Do MRI scan to ruled out neuropathology
2)Do an ECG to ruled out Cardiac pathology
