General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Headache is not a common side effect of amlodipine so I would ask you to talk to your doctor and have a visit related to it, especially if it lasts more than 2 weeks or is getting any worse.
The dizziness can be a likely effect of amlodipine, you will need to get up slowly to reduce dizziness and the risk of fall, make sure you drink enough fluids and if you still feel it in a week or you think it is getting worse please let your doctor know.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
