What Causes Headaches And Excessive Sweating After A Concussion?

I suffered a concussion about six weeks ago. I have headaches, sweats and trouble focusing on daily tasks. I have a hard time cooking a meal for my family something I always did with ease. Can t do my work. It was suggested that I go on Ritalin. What do you suggest? Thank you.

Hi there,

Unfortunately, post concussive syndrome can last for weeks to even months. I don't believe that Ritalin will give you any significant relief, in fact I really do think that it will make your symptoms worse. I often find that time is the best relief, and there is no good medication for post concussive syndrome, which is what you seem to have.

I hope this answers your questions. Please feel free to contact me should you have any further questions.
