Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Headaches And Joint Pain Along With Indigestion?
My a/g ratio is 2.3-high and my alkaline phosphate is 38-low. Dr says nothing abnormal but it was flagged on the test results . I had meningitis last year and since then I have had constant headaches, fatigue and now developing joint pain in my wrists, knees and sometimes hips and feet. I run 3-6 miles a day and am very active even when I am in pain and tired. I was bedridden from June 2016- October 2016 from viral meningitis they say. What can be up? I am a seemingly healthy 35 yr old mother of 3 with a healthy weight of 125 at 5 6. Also I am having digestive issues , maybe ulcer.
As per your detailed history, it may be due to indigestion issue and may not be due to viral meningitis. You can take tab. Tylenol, tablet containing Simethicone and activated charcoal for indigestion. Take light food and do regular exercises. If you are getting neck stiffness, fever, severe headache then consult with a physician and do basic investigations.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale,
