What Causes Headaches And Muscle Spasms In Jaw Bone After Blowing The Nose?
after blowing my nose very hard to dislodge what felt like something I thought was stuck inside right nostril I have had increasingly painful headaches for 5 days. Last night was horrible headache starts with musle spasm in nose kinda like a fuzzy bubble ( not congested) then electric shock to jaw or throat or back of head or upper teeth and then severe pounding that is excruciating.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have headaches with muscle spasms and electric shock in the jaw bone after blowing the nose. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like exertional migraine , cervical spondylosis , sinusitis or TMJ problem . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , takie history and examine physically . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin or penicillin or refer you to neurologist for migraine . Doctor may also refer you to dentist for TMJ problem . For now eat soft food , take steam several times a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Also apply warm compresses to TMJ and nose .
