What Causes Headaches And Nausea Along With Blurred Vision?

Hi. Ive been to the hospital once before and they didnt know what was wrong. But randomly and suddenly I get very tired and have a hard time staying awake, and that follows with a severe headache and nausea. I also get confused and forget things plus have blurred vision and fatigue. My question is, Do you have any ideas why this is randomly happening to me? And what can I do to stop it? Thank you for any advise you offer. Signed, Megan

Hello,

You are suffering from headache and nausea associated with blurred vision. You are also having fatigue and forgetting. Headache and nausea are suggestive of migraine headache. Migraine headache are commonly triggered due to dehydration, skipping meals, sensitiveness to dust and smell, strong smell triggers migraine headache.

Stay away from direct exposure to sunlight, dust, pollution, maintain blood pressure and blood sugar level at all cost. Fatigue may be indicative of thyroid dysfunction, chronic fatigue syndrome, anemia, general body weakness, chronic disease, etc. You can take flunarizine, or triptans, sumatriptan.

One stat after food or when needed to prevent headache and nausea. Stay well hydrated, take adequate amount of water and fluids. Do not skip meals. Take adequate rest, at least 8 hours quality sleep at night to avoid fatigue. You can take multivitamin, once daily for 10 days.

Blurred vision is not only a sign of migraine but also a sign of stroke. You are suggested to get a complete medical check up done. Get all required blood tests, imaging tests done to detect the pathology causing you symptoms so that you can be treated at the earliest. Stay away from addictions, alcohol, drugs, smoking, etc.

Hello,

There could be various causes of your symptoms including migraines, tension headaches, sinus infections, high blood pressure, and neurological conditions. Blurred vision along with headaches and nausea could be a sign of a more serious condition and it's important to seek medical attention if you experience these symptoms frequently.

Some possible ways to manage your symptoms include getting adequate rest, avoiding triggers such as stress and certain foods, practicing relaxation techniques like deep breathing and yoga, and taking over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen as directed by your doctor. It's important to talk to your doctor about your symptoms and work with them to determine the underlying cause and the most appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
