What Causes Headaches And Nausea While On Letrozole?

My friend was taking letrozole after her 2 years of cancer treatment. It did not agree with her and now she is on a similiar drug that starts with an a. What could that be? She is also having side effects with that, such as headaches and nausea. what are other alternatives.

Letrozole is an aromatase inhibitor medication, which is used in the treatment of hormonally-responsive breast cancer after surgery. Hot flashes, hair loss, joint/bone/muscle pain, tiredness, unusual sweating, nausea, diarrhea, dizziness, and trouble sleeping may occur as side effects while taking this medication. Symptoms of nausea and headache can be treated symptomatically. If any of these effects persist or worsen, you need to seek medical attention from your doctor promptly.
