What Causes Headaches And Neck Pain In Rainy Weather?

What does the rainy weather have to do with my overall well being? Sometimes I wake up feeling extremely bad without any reason, and later that same day it will become cloudy and/or rain. I will have headaches, neck pain and my eyes will tear and hurt. Been wondering about this my whole life, grandma was te same. Would like an experts opinion. Thank You

Hello!
Thank you for the question on HCM!
In my opinion the headaches triggered by the changes in weather could be barometric headache. It is caused by the induced pressure changes in the head sinuses from atmospheric pressure changes. Nothing to worry about. Migraine attack can also be triggered by these changes.
I would recommend treatment with painkillers and a lot of caffeine.
Hope to have been helpful!
Best wishes Dr. Abaz Quka
