What Causes Headaches And Vomiting After Taking Strattera?

My son went back on Stratera after being off of it for more than half a year. After a week bad headaches started. Then 10 days in, terrible vomiting. He saw his PED and he said see if he can tolerate the Stratera.Next night the vomiting was so bad my wife took him to the ER. His blood and urine were normal. They gave us ODT and discharged us. We took him off the Stratera. It has been almost 3 weeks of vomiting. Back to the PED more labs came back normal. Trying to get a Referal to a Gastro. Any suggestions? My poor boy is miserable and I feel like a shitty Dad.

Hello,

In addition, Strattera does not cause many of the potential side effects linked to psychostimulants, such as sleeplessness. Strattera can cause very significant abdominal pain, nausea, and drowsiness, especially when starting the medication.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
