Hi I have had a bad headache every day for a month now, I went to my doctors 3 weeks ago and she gave me a musle relaxer which didn t help. Then about a week later I had a problem from my right ear.sudden hearing loss. This was while I was on holiday and I had to go see a gp which she gave me Amoxicillin for a ear infection. but I still have hearing loss and real bad head aches. As this has been ongoing now for such a long time....could you give me any advice please. kind regards. N.Geary

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the sudden hearing loss can be in concern with conductive deafness or sensory neural deafness. You need an expert ENT specialist consult for primary evaluation with
- Inspection of both ears
- Otoscopy
- Weber test
- Rinne's test
- Audiometry

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
