My 17 year old daughter has starting having some strange symptoms and I need to have an idea if this is something that could wait for a few weeks for her to see her doctor or if she needs to be seen sooner. She has a pain under the right shoulder blade, headaches (like migraines - light headed and visual issues), hives that show up along scar lines, losing hair some and blisters, peeling on her lips. Also very low energy compared to usual.
She needs to be physically examined as some hives may cause difficulty in breathing, low blood pressure & low energy. Since she is having, infection & peeling on her lips, her throat needs to be examined to rule out any swelling.
Hives commonly occur due to allergies, insect bites, sunburns. Let her wear cotton clothes, stay in a cool room & apply cold compress in the affected areas. She can take antihistamines to get relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
