What Causes Headaches, Vomiting And Chills In A Child?
my 10 year old grandson has been ill off and on all week. He has complained of a headache,chills,vomiting. He saw a Doctor today as his headache is worse,he is vomiting,not very active. Can t even keep water down much less the medicine he was given. He says his neck hurts in the back where it connects to the head. He is now sleeping a lot. The Doctor said he is at the start of a bacterial infection. I am afraid it is more.

Hello,
The symptoms seem to be related to gastroenteritis.
I suggest using electrolyte solution such as Pedialyte.
I also suggest using daily probiotics.
I recommend using Tylenol for the fever, give him liquids and a plain diet.
I also recommend rest.
