What Causes Headaches, Vomiting, Ear Clogging And Throat Lumps Before Menstruation?

Each month, about 4-5 days before my cycle begins I get excrutiating headaches sometimes with vomiting. I also get extremey lightheaded and feel as though my ears are clogged up and feeling of lump in my throat. I started feeling this way 2 years ago after the birth of my third child. I was on birth control pills but stopped taking them nearly a year ago to see if they were causing the problems but apparent ly it wasnt the pills. Also I am 32 if that could play a role in this.
