What Causes Headaches, Watery Eyes, Pain In Ears And Eyes?

Hello, I am been having headaches for the past year now, or so my M.D. says. It is not really a headache though, it is mainly just my eyes and ears that hurt, My optometrist says that it is not my eyes, they are perfectly healthy (I also had a second opinion on my eyes with the same results.) When I go out side some days I HAVE to wear sunglasses or my eyes constantly water and I have to squint to see. I am not on any medications, I do not smoke, dip, or drink, I just want to get to feeling better, and it has been awhile. Thank you so much!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Watering eyes may be part of allergic condition or hypersensitivity with histamine production in most of the cases.

* The pain in ears and headache might be secondary to sinus congestion underlying or other causes.

In my clinic, I do recommend a systemic examination with necessary lab data for allergy and sinus x-ray findings to co relate on clinical grounds.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
