What Causes Headaches With Irregular Heart Beats?

Hi. I've had lots of vice like headaches recently, along with an aching neck. Along with this,I have palpitations whilst resting and it feels like a pulse in my head and neck at the same time. Then for no particular reason, I'm having episodes when my heart seem to jump or 'trip' making me cough. Does this sound like cause for concern? Thank you.

HI,WELCOME TO HCM,
pulsating headaches with irregular heart beat can be due to underlying carotid artery abnormality like stenosis.narrowing.associated left atrial enlargement can produce irritant cough by pressing on local nerve supply .i suggest you to get screened for CAS by arterial dopppler ultrasound of your neck.a screening 2D echocardiogram can help to rule out organic heart lesions.keep monitoring your blood pressure regularly.consult your cardiologist with the test results.
thank you
