What Causes Hearing Loss And Ear Pain?

I was flying back from Dallas last week. They taxied us to the runway and then we were held up there. We were very close to about 20 jets that took off. It was very loud and hurt when it happened but I didn t think much of it. After getting home I had what I thought was the typical hearing problems after a couple of flights in the same day. My right ear is fine and went back to normal within a day or two. It s been over a week and my left ear which was the side closest to the planes taking off has gotten worse and worse. There s fairly severe pain and my hearing has gone down to almost nothing in that ear. Please help
