What Causes Hearing Of High Pitched Voices And Congestion In Ears?
I am a 94 year old male. My left ear feels a little congested. Voices sound high pitched and tinny and just today a humming sound has occured. My hearing is effected. Voices sound far away . I have just completed a otc course of ear wax removal with no noticeable results. Will you please address this. Thank you.

You could be during from fluid in the ear or otosclerosis. Otosclerosis is seen in the old age and can present that way. Kindly consult ab ENT Specialist and get an Audiometry reading done to confirm.
