hello sir or mam... i am a soldiers currently in afganistan. 6000 feet above sea level. i have been expierencing a feeling almost like a heart palpitation frquently when i am not really being active at all, along with pressure in my neck from the heartbeat. i have went to the doctor and got blood test done and blood pressure readings and everything seemed fine, but these problems still occur after two months of being hear. wondering if you wld have any knowlage or advice on what might be going on with me and if it is reagular. thank you. i am 20 years old, 5'9, 180 lbs, and overall always been a healthy kid.

What Causes Heart Palpilations?
Hi, The palpitations you are telling looks like a abnormal heart rhythm. Have you done a ECG at the time of palpitations. If yes, then that would be of great help in the diagnosis. Kindly send me that ECG. If no, I ll advice you to get a 24 hr Holter monitoring done to detect this arrhythmia. For such patients we generally advice to start on Tab Diltiazem.
