What Causes Heart Palpitations And Mild Chest Pain?

I am a 58 year old woman with a previous history of high blood pressure and have been taking phentermine for weight loss. I stopped taking it a few days ago but I am having heart palpitations and some mild chest pain. Should I go to our local emergency room or will this go away with time?
