What Causes Heart Palpitations, Chest Tightness And Coughing?
Hi, I'm 49, and since last Thursday my heart has been palpitating, I get short of breath, chest tightness, and sometimes have to cough with it. Concerned if I should go to my doctor or if stress could cause this, so i started looking on-line. Any suggestions? Thanks,
Hi thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
Your symptoms are quite suggestive of an ischemic heart disease with mild symptoms of heart failure; I STRONGLY recommend you to get a chest x ray,an EKG, A SCREENING 2 dimensional Echocardiography to evaluate your heart. If needed an you may require an Angiography. By this early detection, suitable drugs can be given to you ,which can improve the blood circulation.
I strongly recommend you to consult an expert cardiologist for further assistance. Thank you Take care.
