HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Heart related medical illnesses would normally cause an increase in heart beat during activity when the heart has to work the most.

During periods of rest, the heart is not working as much so palpitations that occur during this time are likely related to other causes such anemia or anxiety or thyroid disease.

Blood tests to check thyroid hormone levels and also your blood count (complete blood count) would be able to check for the possibility of thyroid disease and anemia.

If these are normal then anxiety may be the likely cause.

I hope this helps
