What Causes Heart Palpitations During Pregnancy?

my wife is 14 weaks pregnant and has irregular heart beating, to fast. it comes one time a day and continuou for half an hour or more. Can please give us an explination for this?

Hi There
I understand your concern for your wife health and I would like to suggest you that you should get an EKG done for your wife to see the cardiac rhythm if it is sinus rhythm or sinus tachycardia then nothing to worry about as it is normal in pregnancy due to increased blood volume. But if it is any other rhythm as you are telling she is having irregular beats then you should consult your gynaecologist.
