What Causes Heart Palpitations In A Heart Attack Survivor?
what does a rapid heartbeat indicate? I have had a heart attack and a stent placed in an artery, I ve had a stress test and have been seen by my cardiologist and primary care since the incident but still suffer from palpatations. there is no pattern to the onset, it could start by just walking from the garage to the bedroom. any ideas?

Many factors can bring about the onset of palpitations, some as simple as physical activity ( like you mentioned), smoking, caffeine, etc. So we cannot always attribute the occurrence of palpitations to a serious caridac event.
