What Causes Heart Palpitations While On Ubiquinol In A Person With Lyme Disease?

Hello,I tried taking Ubiquinol to help my body on a cellular level from damage from Lyme disease. It seems like it is causing me heart palpitations. I was only taking 25mg 1/day and I am 41 years old. Palpitaions would decrease 2 days later after stopping the Ubiquinol. I am disappointed because what Ubiquinol is supposed to do for you is so good. I only saw that 1 other person had this reaction in a Ubiquinol product review, otherwise I cant find much info on it causing this reaction.Would you please tell me why someone would get heart palpitaions from Ubiquinol when it is supposed to actually cure them?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is unlikely that related to Lymes disease. Possible causes like cardiac arrhythmia must be ruled out. A serial ECG is required to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family physician
