Hello,
The commonest cause of a week pulse with heart palpitations is an indication of dehydration or developing
cardiac arrest.
Cardiac arrest causes rapid heartbeat,
shallow breathing, syncope or
unconsciousness. It is called hypovolemic or
cardiogenic shock.
Sometimes,
hyperkalemia may cause cardiac & kidney problems. Stay well hydrated and limit the number of eatables containing high potassium contents like beans, nuts, apricots, etc.
You are suggested to see a cardiologist at the earliest & get physically examined, get CBC, Urinalysis, ECG, X-Ray, Echo done at the earliest to rule out any developing coronary artery problem.
Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected. Stay away from addictions if any. Take homemade food to avoid oily junk food.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
